This is the class I taught at the Boys and Girls Club Hawaii for National Dance Day.  I had so much fun and I hope they did too.  Thank you to Sara for giving me the oppportuniyt!

Here’s the clips of the class I taught at 24-7 on August 3, 2010.  It was the ADV. Hip Hop class on Tuesday night from 7pm to 8pm.  Thank you to Marcelo for giving me the opportunity to teach.

National Dance Day

Yesterday was a fun filled day. It started off with meeting my dad to decide what door handles we wanted in our newly/almost finished renovated kitchen. Then I picked up Sascha and had breakfast together at Kenny’s in Kalihi. It was great since I rarely get a Saturday off with her because of my work schedule. I kind of miss having a job that gives me weekends off… Anyway… I’m simple, I got 2 eggs over easy, crispy bacon, and 2 scoops rice. Sascha got 2 pancakes, 1 egg over easy, and bacon. Guess who didn’t finish? Sascha. Guess who had to eat the rest of her pancakes? I did. Not that I didn’t mind. Hahaha! I like to eat. After breakfast we headed to the Spaulding Clubhouse off Waiola Street. I was teaching a class for a fundraiser for National Dance Day at the Boys and Girls Club. We got there a little early so I had the pleasure of watching Brandi Chun’s class. It’s great to see your own students become amazing dancers and great teachers! I’ve known Brandi since she was 9, she is now 17. Holy smokes I’m old! Hahaha! I had a lot of fun teaching at the Boys and Girls Club. Such eagerness to learn and great energy! After a fun class, we decided to go to Waiola’s. I’ve never been there. The Shaved Ice was really good but I still prefer Matsumoto’s. The ice is a little more course and I think it’s the local boy in me. You know all us local boys love Matsumoto’s. Hahaha! We headed to Ala Moana to kill some time before meeting up with Sascha’s family for dinner. 7pm, finally dinner time. If you didn’t know, I love to eat! Hahaha! I can’t help it, I get hungry almost every 2 hours. Los Chaparros was a pretty good Mexican restaurant. Definitely a place I would like to go back to. I feel so blessed to have had a day to spend it with great people, eating great food, and doing what I love to do.
